Buying an apartment?

Ever wondered what builders and promoters actually mean when they use some catchy phrases for their homes/plots/apartments?

I was home-hunting for sometime and went through a few honest players but not before I bumped into these catchy lines, one after the other:

> Pre-launch offer/Launching Offer - This project is not yet approved, please buy at your own risk.

> Ready to move in/ready to occupy - Well ok, the pillars and walls are ready. There's a little more work, like tiling, plumbing, painting, etc.

> Serene & Green - Just have to travel a few hundred kms outside city limits.

> Wise Investment - We hope that the property rates do not dip if not appreciate!

> Pay comfortably in installments - The construction will happen only if you pay. We don't get customers, the building won't complete.

> It's all about your life style: It's all about your money!

> Lake View Apartments: All the nearby drainage water accumulates near your home/apartment. (Or) There is a lake somewhere near by, search it out!

> Last few left: No one is picking any of our apartments, please take one.

> Near to International Airport: The new airport is 40 kms from Bangalore and just add the same number from the airport to reach our site.

> Fully loaded apartment: Yeah, we are going to charge you for all those 'amenities' that you are not going to use.

> 10 minutes to MG Road - Yeah, if you are only one on the road racing at 100 km/hr

> 5 kms from MG Road - We took a point on MG Road and connected to the site point. It's a straight line; if you want to follow by roads, it could be a few extra 10 kms...

> Look no further: You can't anyway, you've reached the end of the world. Traveling to work from here would be a day's journey.

> Home loans approved by leading financial institutions: Even banks have agreed to fool you on a property that is illegal (deviations in plans are illegal and bank guys choose to ignore these findings)
